KidMatch was born out of a shared frustration experienced by two mothers who understood the complexities of modern parenting. Eniola and Amarachi, both passionate about education, technology, and community-building, realized how challenging it was to find meaningful connections and playdates for their children. The COVID-19 pandemic only intensified this struggle, as it became increasingly difficult to balance work, life, and the need to foster social interactions for their kids. KidMatch is the solution they wished they had—a platform that seamlessly connects parents, simplifies playdate coordination, and builds supportive communities.

We serve BIPOC parents, fathers, mothers, and nonbinary parents. Our platform connects parents who share similar parenting stages and interests, enabling you to arrange playdates, discover events, and create lasting social circles for your children.

Eniola is a dedicated mom with over a decade of experience in children’s education, both inside and outside the classroom. As a self-taught software engineer and AI enthusiast, she is driven by her passion for teaching children how to read. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eniola realized the difficulties of making new parenting friends and finding playdates for her son, which led her to create KidMatch.
Amarachi brings over a decade of experience in software product development to KidMatch. As a mother of four, including two children on the spectrum, she intimately understands the challenges of finding playdates that support her children’s development and learning through play. Amarachi’s journey began with starting a local playgroup community in Africa, which grew to over 1,000 families. She and Eniola connected through an online innovation challenge, where they bonded over their shared vision for KidMatch.
